Günümüzde sera etkisi kavramını hemen hemen her gün duymaktayız. Bu etki aslında dünyamız için faydalı bir etkidir. Ama sera gazlarının artmasıyla birlikte bu etki tehlikeli seviyelere yükselmekte ve 'Küresel Isınma' adı verilen büyük bir çevre sorununu yaratmaktadır. Sera gazlarının atmosferde kontrolsüz bir şekilde artması sebebiyle daha fazla oranda güneş ışını, sera gazlarıyla tutularak yeryüzünün ısınmasını sağlıyor. Sera etkisinin artması Küresel Isınma ve iklim değişikliğine neden oluyor. Küresel Isınma sebebiyle buzullar eriyor, deniz seviyesi yükseliyor, yeryüzünde büyük miktarlarda su kütleleri buharlaşıp atmosfere karışıyor ve sıcaklık-basınç farkından dolayı şiddetli rüzgarlar meydana geliyor. Bu da şiddetli yağmurları, fırtınaları ve tsunamileri beraberinde getiriyor. Dünyanın ve Türkiye'nin farklı bölgelerindeki okullardan ortaklarımızla bu konudaki bilinci ve hassasiyeti artırmayı hedeflemekteyiz. Ortaklarımız; Azerbaycan, Arnavutluk, Gürcistan, Romanya, Portekiz ve ülkemizin farklı bölgelerinden okullardan oluşmaktadır. Emine Konukoğlu Anadolu Lisesi'ni temsilen de TÜRKAN ÇİL ve EMİNE YAVUZ projeyi yürütmektedir.

Nowadays, we hear about the concept of greenhouse effect almost every day. This effect is actually a beneficial effect for our world. However, with the increase of greenhouse gases, this effect rises to dangerous levels and creates a large environmental problem called Global Warming. Due to the uncontrolled increase of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, more sun rays are kept with greenhouse gases and they warm the earth. Increasing the greenhouse effect causes Global Warming and climate change. Due to global warming, glaciers are melting, sea level is rising, large amounts of water on the earth evaporate and mix into the atmosphere, and strong winds occur due to the temperature-pressure difference. This brings heavy rains, storms and tsunamis with it. We aim to increase awareness and sensitivity on this issue with our partners from schools in different regions of the world and Turkey.
